Tour description of Solo Traveler Morocco Photography Adventure

15 Days of Freedom, New Friends, and Beautiful Moroccan Light

Our Solo Photography Tour Morocco  is the perfect trip for solo travelers who love photography, meaningful moments, and traveling at their own pace but with the comfort of a small group and a friendly guide.

On this Morocco photo tour You’ll start in Casablanca and journey through ancient cities, blue mountain towns, golden deserts, and lush valleys all while meeting kind locals, sharing meals, and capturing photos that feel true.

No need to worry about being alone. From day one, you’ll be part of a small group (max 6 people) of like-minded travelers. Everyone is here for the same thing: to see deeply, connect gently, and go home with images and friendships that last.

Whether you use a phone or a camera, this adventure is about slowing down and saying yes to new experiences, also discovering Morocco one quiet sunrise, warm cup of tea, and real human smile at a time.

Day 1 – Welcome to Casablanca

You arrive in Casablanca, and we’ll be there to greet you with a smile. Don’t worry  solo doesn’t mean lonely. You’re already part of the group. We’ll take you to a cozy guesthouse near the sea, where the air smells like salt and jasmine. Settle in, drink mint tea, and take a slow walk with your guide. As the sun sets, we’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque by the ocean. Waves crash against the rocks, the light turns golden, and you’ll take your first Moroccan photo. Dinner is at a local spot, simple, tasty, and full of warmth. We’ll talk about your hopes for the trip. You’ve arrived. The adventure begins.

Day 2 – Tangier: Where Africa Meets the Sea

After breakfast, we drive to Tangier, a lively port city where Africa meets Europe. The road winds along the coast great for photos of the sea and hills. Arrive by midday. Check into a guesthouse in the old medina with rooftop views. Then we’ll explore the Kasbah, walk through blue alleys, and visit the Caves of Hercules a natural opening in the cliff that looks like a map of Africa. In the evening, we’ll find a rooftop café for mint tea and a view of the sunset. The city hums below. You’re already making friends.

Day 3 – Tangier Art & Soul

We start early in the quiet morning light. Walk through the old medina, where every door is painted a different color. Visit the American Legation, a quiet museum full of art and history. Then we’ll meet a local painter or photographer and hear how they see their city. With permission, take portraits and capture real moments. After lunch, free time to wander, rest, or write in your journal. In the late afternoon, we’ll walk to the port and watch the ferry lights come on. This city feels wild, creative, and alive.

Day 4 – Chefchaouen, the Blue City

After breakfast, we drive into the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen — the famous Blue City. The road climbs through green hills and small villages. We’ll stop for photos: a farmer with goats, a market stand with oranges, a view of the valley. By midday, we arrive. Check into a peaceful guesthouse with mountain views. Drop your bag, then take a gentle walk with your guide. Wander through quiet blue alleys, find hidden corners, and watch the evening light turn blue into purple. Dinner is on a rooftop with the whole city below. You’re in the heart of the magic now.

Day 5 – Morning Light in the Blue Streets

We wake up early to catch the soft morning light. The city is calm, the air is cool, and the walls glow. We’ll walk slowly through alleys, looking for small details a flower in a pot, a shadow on a wall, a child waving hello. Visit the Grand Mosque and the kasbah garden. Learn how this town became blue. We’ll stop at a small café for coffee with a view. Later, you’ll meet a local craftsperson maybe a weaver or woodworker. With permission, take their photo and hear their story. In the evening, we’ll look at your photos together and share tips.

Day 6 – Women Cooperative & Mountain Walk

Today we visit a women weaving cooperative on the edge of town. These women make beautiful scarves using natural dyes from saffron, henna, and indigo. You’ll watch them work, take photos of their hands and smiles, and support their work. After that, we’ll have lunch with a local family fresh food, warm tea, real connection. In the afternoon, we’ll walk through olive groves outside the city. Quiet paths, mountain views, and great light for photos. Back in town, you can explore the market or rest. This day is full of color, craft, and kindness.

We’ll stop in a small town for photos and a break. By late afternoon, we arrive in Fes. Check into a traditional riad in the heart of the old city. Drop your bag and take a slow walk with your guide. The medina is big and busy, but we’ll show you the quiet paths. Dinner is in a hidden courtyard, with tagine and music in the background. You’ve arrived in the soul of Morocco.

You can take close-up photos of their hands, tools, and art. With permission, take portraits and ask questions. After lunch, we’ll explore old palaces and quiet courtyards with fountains and mosaics. These places are calm, full of light, and perfect for peaceful photos. In the late afternoon, we’ll find a rooftop café for mint tea and a view of the sunset. The city glows gold.

We leave Fes and drive into the mountains. We’ll pass through Ifrane, a quiet town with pine trees, and Azrou, known for woodcraft and friendly people. Lunch in a family café. Then we continue through the Ziz Valley, a long stretch of palm trees and mud villages. Stop often for photos. By late afternoon, we reach Merzouga, near the Sahara Desert. Check into a guesthouse. Then ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Walk slowly as the sun sets. Arrive at a desert camp just in time for dinner under the stars.

Day 11 – Sunrise & Stars in the Sahara

Wake up before dawn. Wrap up and climb a big dune. Sit. Wait. Then sunrise. Golden light spills over the dunes. This is the moment. Take your time. After breakfast, relax in the shade. In the evening, walk into the dunes again. Watch the sunset. Then dinner under the stars. No lights, no noise. Just firelight, music, and a sky full of stars. This is the best night for astrophotography. Your guide will help you take long-exposure shots of the Milky Way.

Day 12 – Desert Life & Rissani Market

A slow morning in the desert. Walk barefoot on warm sand. Visit a nomad family in their tent. Sit with them, drink tea, and learn about their life. With permission, take portraits.
